Love Brigadoon. We actually got one of our pets there and they offer a 20% discount on all his care. The vets are great and explain everything in a way so the owners can understand completely what’s going on with our pets. Staff isalways friendly and caring. Recommend their services to every pet owner I know
If you are a military family DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE. The rabies vaccination forms they provide are NOT accepted by the USDA as they do not contain the animals microchip information and are not acceptable for travel. In order to get the forms up to USDA standards, the vet must handwrite the microchip information on the form and sign to validate their work, which apparently requires an additional fee they won't let you know about. The vet didn't even see my pets this visit or come to speak with me, and the front desk staff kept walking away while I was explaining what I needed from her; requiring her to walk back and forth 2 times to verify what I was telling her. Save yourself hours of time and go to any other vet where their paperwork is up to standards.
I have had three pets who have all been seen here at Brigadoon. My first was an English Bulldog who had to be put down. Dr. Cox, who no longer works here, came out to our house and did this procedure and it was hard, but having this done in our home was a lot easier. Our dog was at home and comfortable. We continue to go to Brigadoon, but are always disappointed with the customer service at the front desk. Most of the ladies at the front desk are nice, but there is one lady who is very harsh. She is not welcoming at all and it seems every time I go to take my pet in I always get her. The customer service is terrible! My daughter had found a stray at work and brought the kitten here to see if they could find her a forever home, but this lady turned her away. The kitten had a very hurt paw and her eyes were sealed shut so obviously the kitten was sick. I do not see how anyone can look at a helpless, young kitten and deny it the medical attention it needs, yet claim to work at a vet. The lady even told my daughter to take her to the human society to be euthanized because it was sick without even having a vet look at her! Brigadoon is highly expensive and you would think for the price you pay you would get good customer service at least. I have poured a couple thousand dollars into this business combining all three of my animals over the years, however I think this will officially make me begin looking for a new vet.
I love Brigadoon! They always get it right, no coming back and forth because they don't get it right. They saved my cat's eye and have provided great care to all of my pets. Plus they are very nice!
This vet clinic is very friendly and caring....they have taken care of many of my pets, dogs and cats, over the years and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They even board at no charge many homeless animals and Dr. Puette would go MANY extra miles to care for your pet!!! The staff does the same......yes I would highly recommend Brigadoon Animal Hospital.
